About me
I’ve had multiple hats in my work life, corporate project coordinator (or manager, depending on the project), solo traveler, humanitarian field water and sanitation engineer, social entrepreneur, software developer, roughly in that order.
I learnt programming on a 80286 PC with GWBasic and then QBasic when I was a teenager in the early 90s. I do mostly python now, and play with rust, JS/typescript when I have to, I'm learning nix
while trying to remove docker
from my life :)
I have done a few things:
Cofounded a social business in the water space. In the process, I committed a patent. I have mixed feelings about it.
Cofounded ZigWay, another social business based in Yangon, Myanmar.
Launched Ma Dada, a French website that aims to make requesting documents from the State much easier with it than without. I am still part of the core team and run the tech for the site (web and email, mostly).
Joined the team that runs and maintains MapSwipe, an app that helps humanitarian mapping on OpenStreetMap.
Authored and maintain slowapi, a rate-limiting library for fastapi, written in python.
Started (and restarted) OpenFinData, a project that aims to help shed some light onto public investment funds.
